[meme] Atypical Grounds
Want to flood this poor box with activity, but hitting a wall of "what do"? Can't decide what scenario's best for our little muses? Want to tackle some very specific ideas, or replay a former favorite?
Well, sorry on the last one, for the name of the game is 'Variation'! For it's hit me there's a want for "what have you never gotten to do before" floating around, combined with an uncertainty to overloading, detailed plotting. Fear not, for below you'll find a list of challenges, meant purely to make you try something new.
Here's how it goes- comment with your muse options, and then tag others. When you tag someone else, pick a number or roll a random.org choice. It'll correspond with the challenge focuses below.
1. Emotional :: Is there some aspect of one or both of these muses you've never touched on? Never seen them truly happy, or enraged, or crestfallen, or downright shocked? Today your challenge is to throw these two into a scenario where that unseenicon emotion comes out!
2. Cynical :: This would be the disaster option. Lots of muses have run into trouble, either on screen thanks to the Powers That Be quirks, or something in their own past. Today, try something they've never had to face before. Let's see how they handle the pressure!
3. Sexual :: Poor, virginal muses - your unexplored fate is pretty obvious. But the experienced and already-enjoyed-this aren't exempt either. It can be a new thing to be tried out, new gender, new place, new mood, or even an alternate first time!
4. Fictional :: Just for today, how about you mix up the history? Insert a fight, breakup, one night stand, long emotional bonding over pretzels. Whatever it is, insert ONE never-happened event into their past, and explore what it does to the relationship. Or, if they didn't know each other, how it would be.
5. Minimal/Pivotal :: Enough with the mix-ups. Maybe you haven't explored this pair enough, and have TOO MUCH uncovered ground already, without alternate roads. So, what is it? Haven't seen enough of this pair on a day-to-day, just "them doing their thing" basis? Or is that all you get, and you want something HUGE thrown at them? Fine then, whether you show them at the library picking out books, running from palace guards, feeding pigeons in the park, or forced to face each other in a duel to the death? Just make it new!
